Richard
J. Foster (Quaker) — of
the Quaker tradition, is the founder of Renovaré and an
award-winning author of several books including Celebration
of Discipline; PRAYER:
Finding the Heart's True Home, which was named
Book of the Year by "Christianity Today" in 1993; and
Streams of Living Water.
His writings promote personal spiritual renewal. From
his base near Denver, Colorado, where he and his wife,
Carolynn, live, Richard travels throughout the world,
speaking and teaching on the spiritual life. |

James
Bryan Smith — of the United
Methodist tradition, has an abiding concern for the message
of John Wesley. Jim's specialty is spirituality with an
emphasis in small groups. He is Head of the Religion and
Philosophy Department at Friends University. Jim has written
A Spiritual Formation Workbook,
Embracing the Love of God,
and Rich Mullins: an Arrow
Pointing to Heaven, and co-edited Devotional
Classics. Jim and Meghan live in Wichita, Kansas.

Skrammsted — of the Church
of God (Anderson, IN) tradition - is a worship leader,
composer, musician, and clinician who has built worship
ministries within local churches in Toledo, Ohio; Phoenix,
Arizona; and Wichita, Kansas. He has also taught undergraduate
and graduate courses. George and Pat live in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma, where he is Pastor of Worship Ministries
at Crossings Community Church. |
